If you're looking to getaway to a place tucked away with your loved ones, Mountain Chalet is for you. This spacious 4-bedroom home is located in Blue River, just 10 minutes from the heart of Breckenridge. You can easily head out for a day of boarding and downhill skiing on the slopes, or strap on your show shoes or cross-country skis and head out on the nearby trails. Visit in the summer for hiking, mountain biking, and summer festivals as well as, for the eye-popping colors in the fall.
When you return home to our newly furnished and spacious living area, you can relax in front of the gas fireplace or warm up in the jetted hot tub and get rid of any lingering soreness from your stellar day on the slopes or hiking. Our four-bedroom, three bathroom home will comfortably sleep 10. Additionally, there is a small TV/reading area that can be used as a bedroom. The modern kitchen has granite counters with seating for 2-4 at the bar. The kitchen is stocked with a plentiful supply of pots, pans, dishes, cups, glasses along with many spices and staples which provides the option to cook or order in.
The master bedroom has a king size bed. The master bath has jetted tub and a steam shower. All bedrooms have flat screened LED TV’s. And you can pack light and stay plugged in, if you like, thanks to the in-house washer/dryer and free WiFi. Finally, you will find the radiant in-floor heat will not only keep your feet warm but will maintain a very consistent indoor temperature.

Summary: This property is large, easily accessible, accommodates a large group, and is close to the town of Breckinridge. I do want to note that vrbo is known for not having to share the property. But this had an additional room (s) that were inhabited by a single person. She stated she lived there and there were doors that were inaccessible for us, including two that were directly linked to he house so that did pose a security issue. In addition we were asked to move our cars / park in a certain way so the resident could access the garage. Per the listing this should have never been the case and her attitude towards us was less than welcoming. Overall pretty good. I would suggest having more dumpsters since the 2 that were there (an additional one was locked and we couldn't access) easily filled up since we did have a large party (equally the capacity of the house) and we cooked regularly.
