5 Bedroom House with Pool, TV and Private Pool
Inside the gates of Reynolds Lake Oconee are 12,000 acres of club community, six championship golf courses, access to Georgia's second largest lake, and a five-star Ritz-Carlton resort. This is no ordinary lifestyle, and Berry Good is no ordinary vacation home. Boasting 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and a wealth of amenities, this three-level private estate oozes indulgence and has thought of every last detail to cater to needs that guests don't even know they have. Located on shaded lot of a quiet cul-de-sac, Berry Good rolls out the red carpet that's come to exemplify its surrounding community. This craftsman-inspired home welcomes guests with high-end appliances, integrated speaker system, meticulously curated spaces, designer finishes, pet-friendly features, and a saltwater pool and spa that will solve all of life's dilemmas.
On the main level, an open floor plan is accentuated by a dramatic beamed vaulted ceiling in the living area. A tufted leather sectional with power recliners and power headrests surrounds a massive smart TV flanked by custom shelving. A gas fireplace is at the ready for cozy nights underneath the warm glow of Netflix. The adjacent gourmet kitchen commands no less attention with the gleam of stainless-steel appliances including a Monogram 6-burner gas smart range with dual oven, griddle, and wall-mounted pot filler. A few steps away is a wall of custom cabinetry housing a beverage cooler, microwave, warming oven, and a paneled side-by-side refrigerator. An oversized island is equipped with a farmhouse sink, dishwasher, and four barstools. The walk-in pantry easily handles a sweep at Publix and offers extra convenience in a secondary refrigerator with bottom freezer. Sitting under an elegant globe chandelier is the dining table, which accommodates up to eight and offers plentiful views of the surrounding shaded property. Off the kitchen is a laundry enclave with ample counter space, a central island, and a full-size digital front load washer and dryer set. Its generous layout flows into an office nook and is a quiet corner for those who need to work remotely. (But this property induces work amnesia, so good luck with that report.)
The master on main is an exquisitely designed oasis with an impressive beamed coffered ceiling that seems suspended above a plush king bed. The natural sunlight streaming in from the north-facing windows highlights gold accents found in the table lamps, framed artwork, hardware, and fabrics that adorn the room. The subtle glint hints at what awaits in the ensuite bath: gilded decadence. Under the starburst chandelier, guests are entreated to let it all melt away. An extended double vanity says, "Bring it!" to overstuffed toiletry cases, but the showstopper is what's reflected in the vanity mirrors: a frameless walk-in shower for two with twin pressure-balanced shower systems and marbled tile surround. The walk-in closet is a dream of haute couture proportions and with enough custom floor-to-ceiling storage to organize an entire wardrobe. With so much at your fingertips (including a smart TV for personal viewing), it's impossible to leave the master suite without feeling like pampered royalty.
However, luxury doesn't end with the master suite. In fact, there are more thoughtful features located on the upper and lower levels. On the opposite wing of the main level, take the laundry room staircase to the loft, where a queen bed, reading nook (complete with two leather armchairs and a coffee table) double closets, flatscreen TV, writing desk, and coffee station are on standby. Plenty of natural light illuminates the spacious layout, and a private full bath with a frameless walk-in shower completes this hidden gem. Downstairs is a sprawling common area whose beamed ceiling, earthy hues, oversized sectional with ottomans, foosball table, and swivel leather armchairs give a respectful nod to English taverns but with a modern twist: a massive smart TV nearly spans an entire wall and is mounted atop a remote-controlled gas fireplace. A kitchenette anticipates the smorgasbord of college game days and Masters week by offering a variety of appliances, including a microwave, beverage cooler, ice machine, dishwasher, sink, and refrigerator-freezer. Two barstools sit at the counter, and a pedestal cafe table welcomes up to six more.
Three guest bedrooms surround the common area. On the east wing, younger guests will quickly lay claim to the nautical inspired bunk room, outfitted with built in bunks with twin-over-full mattresses for a sleeping capacity of up to 6. A jack-and-jill bathroom with double sink vanity and tub/shower combo allow for easy traffic flow, and repurposed deck cleats serve as creative hardware for hanging wet towels and swimsuits. The adjoining bedroom provides private views of the backyard space - including that tantalizing pool - and is furnished with a contemporary take on a wrought-iron king bed, a flatscreen TV, reading corner, closet, and dresser storage. On the opposite end is the remaining guest room with an old-world inspired queen bed with two nightstands that combine vintage French form with hidden USB ports and outlets. Nearby are a chaise lounge and a closet. An ensuite bath provides a step-in frameless shower and single vanity. Where the fourth guest room would be has been cleverly designed as a multi-purpose space for outdoor equipment storage (floats, paddle boards, corn hole), a tiled dog wash station, and a laundry corner with a stacked washer and dryer.
It all sounds too good to be true, but wait, there's more! The upper deck and walkout terrace provide not only front row seats to the soothing reflection of the pool, but they aim to please with features just as detailed as the interior. With a gas fireplace, remote-controlled outdoor screens, and mounted overhead heaters, the upper deck is a space for all seasons. A flatscreen TV and plenty of cushioned seating make this a coveted location for watching ESPN or an unapologetic binge of the Hallmark Channel. Nearby is a barbecue station with a propane grill and a Big Green Egg. A quick trip to Pounders just off Linger Longer Road can help supply everything from steaks and seafood to brats and pork, and serve it all on the adjacent outdoor table for al fresco dining.
The terrace below doesn't forget its southern surroundings and is outfitted with an oversized swing and plenty of seating. A ping-pong table is also on hand. However, nothing beats the ambiance of the saltwater pool with attached waterfall spa and gas firepit. By day, it's a refreshing escape from the Georgia sun. By night, it's a mesmerizing blend of water and fire. Beyond the gate enclosure is part of the 21 miles of walking trails found throughout Reynolds. Through the bordering tree line, the shoreline shimmers with a natural beauty unique to Lake Country and complimented by the exceptional elegance of Berry Good.
