3 Bedroom House with Balcony, Bedding and Wellness Facilities
GENERAL INFORMATION - Cute cottage featuring three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and kitchen/living/dining flowing onto a sunny front patio surrounded by tropical plants. Quality fittings throughout. Underfloor heating makes it nice and cosy.
LOCATION - Beautiful Freshwater beach is at the end of the road, and the vibrant
village is a one minute walk away. Bustling Manly is a picturesque walk over the headland, or a short bus ride away. Freshwater beach is stunning, and is the perfect spot for swimming and surfing in the day, or an evening stroll. Freshwater village has lots of great cafes and restaurants, a new IGA supermarket, bottle shops, doctors, chemists etc.
PARKING- There is one parking space on the driveway for the cottage, plus free on street parking if you have more than one car. Very long cars or long utes, and cars with trailers will need to be parked on the street. The driveway is shared with the adjacent house (my home), but the cottage has it's own dedicated space. There is free all day/night parking in the street (no sticker required). At very busy times and peak hot beach days it is difficult to park in the street. However, the rest of the year there is usually a space close by.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS- Bedroom one has a queen bed and ensuite bath with shower over, WC, and basin. Bedroom two has two single beds (can be pushed together to form one large bed, if required) with ensuite shower, WC, and basin. Off the living room, is small bedroom three which has a single bed, suitable for an adult or a child, an ensuite shower, WC, and basin. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are upstairs, and bedroom 3 is downstairs. All linen and towels are included, including beach towels.
LIVING, DINING AND KITCHEN - The living area has a large comfortable sofa, and a TV with Netflix, so lots of choice. The indoor dining table seats 5, and there is a fully functioning kitchen with fridge freezer, oven, cook top, microwave, sink and dishwasher. There are plenty of pots, pans, plates, mugs, glasses, a coffee plunger, tea pot etc.
OUTSIDE SPACE - At the front of the cottage is a pretty enclosed courtyard with seating for 6, and tropical plants. The side of the cottage has a washing line. Please note that the cottage does not any extra space or storage space for large items. Surf boards will fit down the side of the cottage. My family live in the adjacent house on the same block, but give you complete privacy.
WASHING MACHINE-There is an under stairs washing machine with a separate half dryer. Outside is a washing line attached to the side of the house.
FOR YOUR COMFORT- Beds are near new and very comfortable. For winter, there is underfloor heating in the 3 bathrooms, and underfloor heating funder the Travertine floor in the living/kitchen/dining and downstairs single bedroom. For summer, there are ceiling fans plus plenty of cross-breeze through the louvred windows.
FOR CHILDREN - children aged 2 and under are not permitted at the cottage. There is no cot or high chair at the cottage. There is a small box Lego, and a few games and books for children.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT - Check in is from 3pm and check out is 10am.
INTERNET - There is a wireless internet connection.
FUNCTIONS/NOISE - Sorry, no large groups of young adults, no Schoolies, and strictly no parties or functions allowed as the cottage is in a residential area. The cottage is surrounded by other homes, so outside noise must be kept to a minimum, especially after 10pm.
SMOKING- Seahorse Cottage is a no smoking home inside. Smoking is fine in the front courtyard.

Answer - There is one parking space on the driveway at the cottage. If you have more than one car, there is free all-day parking on the street. At peak times of the year it is harder to park, but most of the time you can park close by.

Answer - No. The cottage is not suitable for children aged 2 and under.

Answer- About 250 metres down the road. The cottage is between the beach and the village.

Answer - Yes, 1 minute walk away. There are lots of cafes and restaurants in close walking distance. For shopping, you can get most things in Freshwater village; there is a new IGA supermarket, chemist, beer and wine shop, and 2 wonderful bakeries. Manly has Harris Farm and Coles, Balgowlah has Harris Farm and Coles in Stockland plus Woolworths close by in Manly Vale, Dee Why has Coles and Woolworths. Warringah Mall has Coles, Woolworths, and Aldi.

Answer - Yes, two playgrounds at the beach end of the street.

Answer - No, but there are ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms and the cottage has lots of windows and French doors, which provide a lovely cross-breeze.

Answer- There's underfloor heating all of downstairs, plus underfloor heating in the bathrooms upstairs, so the cottage is nice and cosy in the winter months.

Answer - No, we'll do that.
