Positive: Air conditioning during the heatwave was great. Convenient location for sightseeing around Lucca. Quiet at night.
Negative: There was no information about check in until a couple of hours before check in time by which point we were worried. The address provided on booking.com was not where you enter property and we spent a while in the heat looking for the gate from the video. We didn't expect luxury but some basics were missing - no soap to wash hands after a long journey, no tea towel in the kitchen, no washing up liquid, provided kettle couldn't be plugged into any sockets, had to search for toilet paper in the cleaning cupboard. The main bed was creaky and nearly falling apart, and was literally tied together with some wires. No bin in the kitchen and no information on recycling. No communications on checkout so we just left the key where we found. It's not a bad flat but poorly managed!
