Positive: My hosts, Tiago and Dora, have made the property even more fabulous than it already is. They’re willingness to share things to see and do and how to get there is such a great help.”My Nest” here has been absolutely wonderful with an amazing view of the castle, fully lit in the evening, and beyond. Magical. The Christmas holiday decorating is in full swing. It was very fun to watch as each little shop prides itself in making a sweet display. It is a short walking distance to the castle and it’s a nice walk to see all of the homes along the way. My camera got a very good workout the entire time. Everything that you could need to have a great time inside is here. A full kitchen with all cooking necessities, a comfy living room with big TV, dining area, table, and that fabulous view, a small bathroom with a great shower, and a cozy bedroom with wonderful bedding and again that view. There is both heating and air. Not easy to find. Parking is right outside of the door, literally. Also not easy to find. Yummy treats, a bottle of wine and his mom’s homemade ginjinha (the best I’ve ever had) were all ready for me when I arrived. This is my eighth Airbnb in Portugal and absolutely at the top of the list. 10+. So great, as a matter of fact, I extended my stay. I just don’t want to leave. You will love Mood Lodging. The owners are the absolute best and they are on site.
Negative: That I couldn’t stay longer. It was rainy the first few days, but then was quite pleasant.
