Positive: The main level and kitchen were comfortable.
Negative: We had a nice trip, but there were a few things that left room for improvement and led to my reduced reviews overall. * There was a very sticky and gross materials on all the inside of the kitchen cabinet doors that was pretty nasty. Would highly suggest this goop be cleaned for future stays. * The gap under the master bedroom door leading onto the deck was about 1 cm in width and let in a lot of light, noise, and bugs. Would suggest adding a gasket to properly seal the door. * Screens on the windows to keep bugs out in the evening would be pertinent and quite critical given how buggy the woods are, and the lack of A/C - the windows are the only fresh air flow. * The garage and garage mandoor were disgustingly full of bugs and cobwebs. It would be nice to keep this clean and not a mess of cobwebs for guests as they use the washer and dryer and garage. * The hot tub cover is coated in mildew on the inside and is desperately in need of replacement. * The beach towels are pretty worn and could use replacing. * The garbage disposal in the kitchen sink is lacking a cover, so when you run it it explodes in your face. Would be good to add a cover. * The house itself backs up to the main road through the area, and there was quite a bit of traffic noise. Its quieter at night, but with the windows open you can very clearly hear every car that drives past reverberating through the canyon.
Summary: Overall, the location was nice but the property is neglected.
