Whether you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, away from it all vacation, or seeking tours and adventures, this is the perfect location for you.
Open plan kitchen and dining area with a sunken living room with floor to ceiling windows and doors out to the garden, terrace and pool, laundry room and 3 bedrooms.
The villa is situated in a private gated community with 24/7 security set in the hills above Playa Matapalo, Guanacaste Province on the Pacific Northwest 'Golden Coast' of Costa Rica. Only 5 minutes from the beautiful Matapalo Beach and several other lovely Costa Rican beaches. 18 minutes from Playas del Coco where you will find shopping, restaurants, night life and more. And only 30 minutes from Liberia International Airport.
On the first floor there is the master suite with large sliding doors on to the private balcony, fitted wardrobes, shower and full bathtub. At lower ground floor are 2 further bedrooms with shared bathroom and shower, fitted wardrobes and large sliding doors out to the garden.
The villa sleeps 6 with infinity pool and private drive with car port.
One of the best views of the Pacific coast in all of Guanacaste, with a community pool and club house, we call it the Top of the World, overlooking a spectacular view from Rincon de la Vieja and Liberia to the northeast and the hills and coast line to the south.
You will need a 4x4 vehicle to get to this property.

Summary: We spent three wonderful weeks at Casa Malibu and the pictures do not lie, just as advertised! We would recommend this property without hesitation. The drive from the airport is easy but we would suggest telling guests to turn at the Riu Hotel sign as we could not see a Route 911 sign. Easy drive to Playa del Coco and Hermosa with beachs, retaurants, grocery stores, etc. And of course Playa Matepala is an easy 5 minute drive away. As three older adult couples we would like to make a few suggestions: - The patio umbrella is broken and is absolutely needed for shade beside the pool. - Master suite darkening curtains are not working and should be fixed. - The shower in the upstairs bathroom has little presure, not sure if this is fixable. - The curtains in the first downstairs bedroom do not close across the air conditioner which is awkward. - The kitchen was well equiped but large plastic glasses for out by the pool would be helpful. Thanks again for a great stay.
