Summary: We had a fine time at the house, but I wish I'd done a bit more research. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and the closest beach access is too far to walk. There are also very limited restaurants close to the house and many were closed Sunday -Tues. I requested an early check in, which was not approved due to back to back reservations (completely understandable), however, the response said to wait to closer to the regular check in time. We arrived ~15 min prior to the written check in time thinking it would be fine. The code would not work. Waited till exactly 4pm and suddenly the code was valid. (Wish communication was straightforward and just said the code wouldn't work till 4. With transparent communication we would've just waited till later in the day). In addition, the code only opened the deadbolt, but no key was provided for the doorknob. Delayed response from VRBO chat and had to contact the generic 1-800 number to finally get access. House is stocked with kitchen appliances, however, no food whatsoever... Not even coffee 😕
