The space: A partially renovated 1920's bungalow. Our home is perfect for a couple of friends or a small family getaway. Our casa is 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms with queen beds (additional sleeping option: fold up twin floor mattress/pack n play, backyard and a wonderful front porch to hang out on. We provide local coffee beans from our neighborhood Cafe, Naked Coffee, perfect for your morning drip or pour-over that you can enjoy on your front porch bistro table. The casa features a cozy indoor fireplace and each room is set up for a nice rest after you've explored Sacramento. So many local cafes, restaurants, and shops just blocks away. Come enjoy our modern boho bungalow retreat!
Guest access: Private entry, self check in/out as well as free street parking spot for 1-2 cars. Front patio outdoor spaces.

Always happy to provide simple household items per request should we have them available. We'll just place them in your front patio. Any questions on where items are or how to use the kitchen, AC, fireplace, really anything, just ask.
*Please note: Our tiny house located in the rear backyard/ driveway is also a rental. You may see guests coming and going but you each have your own private entry and spaces.

Other things to note: The bungalow is just over 950 sq./ ft with an additional covered/screened front porch and uncovered front patio. We have a detached, rear tiny house that is also our rental. As much as we love sharing our home with you, our backyard, laundry room and attic loft + stairs are not accessible. Sorry- our home is not wheelchair accessible. Short-term rental only, 29 nights max. Potential Noise: Medical helicopters and usual urban city neighborhood sounds.

Neighborhood: I LOVE NORTH OAK PARK: Filled with tree-lined streets and historic homes, it has an urban city vibrancy with family neighborhood charm! Walkable to UC Davis Medical Center (and future Aggie Square) and the Oak Park Triangle District on Broadway. Our neighborhood is located in the heart of one of Sacramento's city neighborhoods. We are bike-friendly, close to local restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, boutiques, shops, spas, Farmers Markets, Midtown. Easy drive to Golden 1 Center, and Downtown Sacramento offerings. Very centrally located!
Getting around: Most guests rent a car and find street parking. You can easily walk to eat, drink and shop at our local Triangle District, or rent an electric bike/scooter to go about town. There is also GIG car sharing app, some public transit the lightrail (SacRT), free city public ride sharing transit by downloading SmaRT Ride app or Uber/Lyft is readily available.
Parking: Street parking for 1-2 vehicles. Use our recommended parking spots in front of the bungalow when possible as a courtesy to our neighbors.
