70 km north of Joensuu, artificial pond (50 m long, 15 m wide, deepest depth 3 m), boat. Lake Herajärvi 500 m, common shore, own boat. Log cottage 1994, kitchen-living room, bedroom with two beds, bedroom with one bed and upper bunk bed, bed room with sliding doors and double bed, washing room, sauna (elec. stove), terrace. Own, separate sauna (wood heated stove) and dressing room by the artificial pond. Water to sauna is carried from the pond. In winter you can carry water also from the cottage. Traditional log cottage situated by an artificial pond, suitable for example for a bigger family. Lake Herajärvi 500 m. Gas grill and a barbecue shelter. The cottage also has an old harmonium. To the separate sauna water are carried from the artificial pond. The neighbouring small cottage can be rent separately. The Koli National Park is near-by as well as the Herajärvi trail that was chosen as the national number one trip destination. The cottage is suitable for down hill and cross-country skiers, Ukko-Koli slopes 8 km and cross-country skiing tracks 6 km. Cottage is not suitable for clients who are allergic to pets. Reservations start at 16 and end at 12 (also in weekend bookings).
