Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Location to Parramatta railway and bus station was great. Also there is a big Westfield shopping centre nearby. Close to Parramatta park.
Negative: The air conditioning was not working and in fact was pumping hot air into the room. Opening the windows didn't help due to 32deg C days and the high level of noise from the nearby transport hub. I asked for a room change and couldn't get one, though the duty manager did offer a couple of fans. Considering I paid a lot of money for the two nights, I have certainly have not got what I paid for. Air conditioning is not a maybe! The duty manager was not interested in compensation and only directed me to the Accor website!Accor informed me me (via email only) to contact the hotel. So no-one gives a damn about customer satisfaction and they have just put me in a loop. Given the response, more than the problem, I would urge not to stay with Mantra / Accor as they do not follow up or care about customer satisfaction!
