Summary: The hotel in a bit of a state with renovations. There were even chunks out of the walls in the passages going to our room. The beds were comfortable but there was no bin in the room and the bathroom needed a complete renovation. There was a strong smell of paint which was not good and outside our window was a whole construction crew so we could not even open the curtains. The decor was unfinished and incomplete - ok just to sleep but did not feel comfortable overall. I feel that this should have been communicated to a guest before making a booking or the stay should have been discounted in some way to compensate for all the inconveniences, The parking was shocking and luckily I had a small hired car or I would not have been able to squeeze in and out like I did. We only stayed one night but if I had booked longer I would have cancelled and found alternative accommodation
