Want to rent a kayak and paddle down the river or hire a motor launch and a captain to take you 10 miles down river to the ocean? It's all within walking distance. The home is in pristine condition. 4 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths. Comfortable sofas and beautiful antiques. Stunning water views from every room. Central air conditioning and an elevator if needed. Multiple smart tv's. Gas fireplace. You won't want to get in your car, but if you do, Rockport and Camden are half an hour north. Pemaquid Beach and the ocean are also nearby.

Summary: This is a special house in an extraordinary location, right on the Damariscotta River in Newcastle/Damariscotta, Maine. The house is clean and in great condition. A few issues arose - even prior to our arrival - that Charlie, the host, addressed in a timely, professional, and generous manner. We look forward to staying in this home again!
