It is an oasis in the hear of one of Austin's mot centrally located neighborhoods, the Bungalow on 29th embodies the spirit and the history of this vibrant city, an eclectic mix of cowboys and rockers, leather and velvet, providing a luxurious and private retreat to call home.
This house was built in the 1930's and has been fully renovated to provide modern conveiences while retaining its soulful elegance. The bungalow is comprised of 2 bedrooms on the main floor with a bathroom central to them both. Each bedroom has a queen bed and closets with ample hanging space. The entry opens into a lovely salon that features a cozy seating area, dining area (dining table seats 6) and a turntable to provide the soundtrack to your gatherings. There is also a desk nook with surrounding bookcases, should you be working remotely and need a spot to focus.
The kitchen is equipped with all of the tools and supplies necessary to support your culinary needs. The pantry is fully stocked with all cooking and baking staples. Appliances include dishwasher, gas stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Small appliances include coffee maker, toaster, food processor, blender and Instapot.
The family room is perfect for lounging and has a smart TV with cable and access to streaming platforms. Various games are located in the media console if you are looking for a game night fun with friends and family.
The master suite is located upstairs and is truly a luxurious retreat in the treetops! With a King Bed, sitting area, desk and outdoor balcony there's almost no reason to leave! The Master Bathroom provides a large walk in shower and a double vanity with access to a walk in closet for your storage needs.
We provide bathroom amenities as well, you will find some local flavor in the RVT (Vintage Round Top Boutique Hotel Line) of Texas Sweet Grass Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash along with a hair dryer, Q-tips and cotton rounds should you need them. In addition, you will find robes in your rooms for your use!
The outdoor space is magical. Completely surrounded by lush walls of green and draped in white lights, you will have access to the outdoor dining area, lounge spaces, hot tub and Tiipii bed (a swing bed). If you are in the mood for some outdoor games - corn hole and bocce ball are available.
