Positive: Location was very frustrating to find, place is hidden and advertised Chimwemwe online 🤷‍♀️ yet it’s called Katonga.
Negative: First time when I visited in January I couldn’t find the place from 8:00am until 1:35pm. I finally found the place and I liked it. I left for another country and booked at the same place within two weeks, they gave us a different apartment which was heavily smelling tobacco, the furniture was broken, master bedroom dresser had broken mirror, we asked to switch to our first apartment unfortunately the master bedroom air conditioner wasn’t working it was fixed on day 3. We hired a car first time and wipers were not working, we discovered that when it started raining and we were far from the property, we had to park car until rains stopped. As if it was not enough we hired the car second time when we came back after two weeks, same car they gave us a car with broken wipers and again we had to park the car until rains stopped. The first host a s gentleman was cool and very helpful. But the second host the lady is the reason why I would not come back again or refer people, second time I requested a shuttle from the airport she came on time and I requested for a shuttle going back to the airport, that was a nightmare. She came late to pick us up and was driving panicking missing the airport turn off, it wasn’t fun a terrible experience. I had to remind her to apologize at least.
Summary: Overall it was great and clean the house keepers are friendly. Besides the so called lady manager.
