Positive: ✅ it’s not so far from the giant ibis bus stop by tuktuk (5000 ish reals) ✅ The staff are super friendly and they organise A LOT of stuff. Including free cocktails, spin the wheel, tours…. ✅ The room was clean, bed had a lockbox, everything you’d need to feel at home/sorted. ✅ The bathrooms were really nice to spend time in. I mean the whole building was really more like a hotel. Apart from the fact that you don’t have a private room. But with curtains, who cares! There was music playing in common areas, the pool was nice to have…. The restaurant offers food which is quite cheap for western prices. Maybe more expensive than neighbouring eateries, but it’s so convenient and tasted really good. There is always some sort of happy hour deal, mini deal, breakfast deal… I never went anywhere else.
Negative: ❌ They don’t accept tour bookings after 9pm because they collaborate with a tour provider… so you’re not even guaranteed to meet people from the hostel ❌ The airport transfer for 12 USD was not available on the day I wanted to go which was a real shame. A grab was 31 USD. ❌ The sheet in the bed was a bit thin and low quality. More like an airplane blanket. I’d like to see something a bit better if possible.
Summary: A really nice place - I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy!
