Positive: The location is amazing with wonderful views out over the harbour. Very relaxing. Great sun rises. The pool, terrace and garden area are stunning. Large sparkling clean pool. Huge terrace with lots of seating with 2 dining tables seating 8, with little tables and comfy sofas dotted around. this enabled us to move around to enjoy the sun or shade. Amazing built in BBQ area with cupboards, sink and utensils. The villa is lovely with a large comfy lounge diner with an inside large dining table and lots of sofas and armchairs and a TV that can be linked to UK channels by VPN. Watched the Euros there. Not a good ending but not the host’s fault. The kitchen and laundry room were roomy and well equipped. Everything you could ask for. Air conditioning throughout was very welcome. The master bedroom was fantastic. It was spacious with a large comfy bed loads of storage, large ensuite bathroom and a great sized balcony overlooking the harbour. Main bathroom on the first floor was a good size with a bath and powerful shower. We had a couple of problems with water but they were resolved speedily. The agent is great and answered any queries almost immediately. Great water taxi minutes away for trips to Mahon town and the island. A little expensive at 15 euros a person but a lovely way to travel.
Negative: The only downside was that the other bedrooms are a a bit small with no real wardrobe space. Booking.com description needs correcting as it differs to the property description: The description mentions beachfront which is not the case - but it is a lovely harbour location There are not 5 bathrooms with walk in shower - 3 bathrooms, all with showers, 1 with walk in shower and a downstairs toilet. One of the bedrooms is in an outdoor building across the pool from the villa which may not suit everyone. There is only 1 living room which is more than adequate for a large family. That said it is a lovely villa and we would happily return.
Summary: Lovely family villa in a wonderful location. Huge outdoor area and pool with amazing views.
