LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Livin’ the Dream in Jamaica Beach with over 400’ of water frontage! This home features 7 bedrooms and 6 full baths, a private swimming pool (not heated or cooled) with a huge palapa/tiki hut, covered decks, an extra spacious hot tub, twin jets docks with a kayak launch, and an outdoor natural gas grill!
Livin' the Dream is a vacation home you won't soon forget. This home is located on the point of the main canal out to Galveston Bay meets the side canals offering sweeping views in five directions. Pull up your boat or jet ski to the dry-docking station or tie off at the docks. Swing the day away on our deck swing.
Livin’ Outside (Ground Level)
Enjoy the hot tub year round! The outdoor area also has a huge Adirondack chair that’s great for taking family photos, a large palapa that provides shade to the pool deck, double covered deck, fire pits at each end of the pool for a night swim, and a swim ladder attached to the dock, if guests would rather take a dip in the canal. The home features 2 single and 1 double kayak, 2 paddle boards, and numerous pool toys/floats.
Additional ground-level features include an extra full-size refrigerator, a 3-section bar back-style beverage refrigerator, and a hotel-style ice machine in the walk-through garage area. The ground level is also equipped with a kitchen including a dishwasher, sink, garbage disposal, stovetop, microwave, cedarwood bars (seats 13), television (with satellite), and natural gas outdoor grilling station with side burner and bar tops! Fishing is great from your own dock. Livin’ the Dream is a fisherman's paradise with boat ties and a fish cleaning station. This is outdoor living at its best!
Livin’ Inside (1st and 2nd floors)
Interior features of Livin’ the Dream include a well-appointed open kitchen with a large island, living, and dining areas all with views of the water. The kitchen area is perfect for food preparation and entertaining simultaneously. The home has two Keurig machines (please bring your own pods) as well as a drip coffee pot. The living area features multiple sofas and ample seats for everyone to enjoy the large flat-screen TV (with satellite), and large dining table (seats 22) in this open-concept home. Walk out onto the balcony for another small dining table (seats 3), or the 2nd exterior dining table on this massive deck (seats 8).
The living room also features an authentic table-top arcade game, with 60 classic games like Pac-Man, Galaga, etc. No quarters are needed.
Sleeping accommodations are abundant at Livin’ the Dream. No sofa sleepers. Only beds.
CAPTAIN’S QUARTERS
The primary bedroom is located on the 2nd floor of the home and features a king bed (sleeps 2) and an en suite bath with jetted tub, primary also has a television (with cable), and access to a balcony.
THE GETAWAY
The 2nd bedroom is a secluded king suite (sleeps 2) on the 2nd floor with a private entrance and private full bath. You absolutely get away from it all in this room.
BLUE CRAB ROOM
The 3rd bedroom is located on the 1st floor (same level as the kitchen and living area). It also has a king bed (sleeps 2), a bath with shower, and a television (with cable).
GULF ROOM
The 4th bedroom is located on the 1st floor (same level as the kitchen area) and has a beautiful king-size bed (sleeps 2).
SURF ROOM
The 5th bedroom is located on the 2nd floor and has a king bed plus a set of twin bunks (sleeps 4). Access to Jack and Jill bathroom.
BLUE BEACH
The 6th bedroom features a king bed (sleeps 2). Located on the 2nd floor. Access to Jack and Jill bathroom. TV with a DVD player only.
KID’S BUNK ROOM
The 7th bedroom is also on the 2nd floor. Please bring your own games and controllers for gaming systems. Two side-by-side TVs, a DVD player, and HDMI cords are provided. No satellite TV.
It is truly a kids’ bunk room with 2 twin bunks and 2 queen beds, sleeping a total of 4 with a full bath.
This Jamaica Beach home will accommodate 18 guests and has parking for approximately 6 cars behind the manually operated driveway gate. All vehicles need to be inside the gate at all times. The actual number of vehicles depends on the size of the vehicles.
Livin' the Dream is a vacation home where you can swim in your own private pool and hot tub while enjoying resort-style living under a palapa/tiki hut all while relaxing in comfortable Adirondack chairs. Jamaica Beach (on the Gulf of Mexico) is less than a 10-minute ride by golf cart (available through Gulf Coast Concierge Service, please ask your vacation planner). Bring your own boats or jet skis and have a place for everyone - inside and outside. The Jamaica Beach boat ramp is nearby. Guests need to request a permit from the town.
This home is not available for any graduation, prom, after-prom, Spring break, weddings, or any other type of large party with guests not listed on the reservation. Friday to Friday rentals during the peak summer season. Due to the nature of island weather, internet service may be interrupted, no refunds for cable or internet interruption. In case of interruption, go old school and talk to each other. Our pool and spa are serviced multiple times a week. While we make every effort to keep them in perfect shape, we cannot guarantee there won’t be a disruption in service outside of our control. We will make every effort to make all thing right ASAP.

Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.
Jamaica Beach is a residential neighborhood, and quiet hours are enforced between 10 pm and 7 am.
The property may accommodate 8-10 vehicles to be parked at the property. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway and may be parked in the grass if additional space is needed, but all vehicles must be parked inside the property gates and not on the street. The actual number of vehicles depends on the size of the vehicles and parking arrangements.
Pool and spa are serviced multiple times a week, and we make every effort to keep them in tip-top shape. However, we cannot guarantee there won’t be a disruption, but we always make every effort to resolve any issues ASAP.
Even if listed as a provided amenity, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network, or channels or cable and internet signal quality, and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
