COVID-19/CORONAVIRUS UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 2023
We're open and accepting visitors. To our knowledge, no one has been exposed to COVID-19 while staying at or visiting our place.
At this time, we do NOT require proof of vaccination or a negative test result.
Here are steps our professional cleaners are taking due to COVID-19:
* We have removed as many avenues for cross contamination as possible. Employees who have a temperature, are unwell, have a compromised immune system, or have other personal reasons why they are unable to work, will not be cleaning during this time.
* All cleaners have undergone training on how to clean safely during this time. The recent training included information on what surfaces the virus lives, the new, stricter hygiene requirements (wearing gloves at all times, sanitizing all supplies more frequently, disinfecting our vehicles), etc.
* We are increasing emphasis on disinfecting in our cleaning. Usually, we clean surfaces in a way that removes 97% of germs/viruses, other than on surfaces that can be safely cleaned with peroxide (which is 99.99% effective against germs/viruses, but not safe for all surfaces). We have added a new thymol based disinfectant (thyme derived) that we use after cleaning that is 99.9% effective against germs and viruses, and safe for far more surfaces. Disinfectants take time to work, so some surfaces in your house may be left wet with the disinfectant, and you may possibly notice some residue. This is for your safety so we can better disinfect your home.
To provide flexibility, we've updated our payment policies:
If you aren't able to stay with us for ANY reason, just submit a cancellation request through Vrbo no later than FOUR weeks before your stay begins. Because of the current situation, we'll make an exception and refund your hold deposit. You'll need to check with Vrbo on whether or not they'll refund their service fee.
If you make the balance payment and need to cancel ANYTIME before your stay begins, the full amount paid can be applied to a future stay starting within one year of the original arrival date.
IMPORTANT NOTE: if you have symptoms associated with COVID-19 or have ANY reason to believe you have been in contact with someone who MAY have/had COVID-19, you CANNOT stay at our place. This is for the safety of ALL our visitors as well as our cleaners.
REALLY IMPORTANT NOTE: although the house is professionally cleaned between every visit and we're trying to limit access to the house to folks who haven't been exposed to COVID-19, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOU WON'T BE EXPOSED TO COVID-19 AT OUR PLACE. If you visit our beach house, YOU ACCEPT THE RISK YOU MAY BE EXPOSED TO COVID-19 AND ANY RESULTING CONSEQUENCES.

Two large bedrooms on second floor, each with two full/double beds. 2 1/2 baths, including master bath with soaking tub, extra large glass shower, and double sink. Open kitchen with bright morning room. 2 car garage. Large, private side yard. All new furniture including a sleeper sofa/futon. All new appliances including flat top range. Over 2,300 square feet!
