1 Bedroom Condo with Oceanfront, Security and Internet

Newly remodeled unit just made available for rentals. This was our home in the 70's and now our vacation home. We want you to enjoy old Hawaii the way we did when we were first married. This is a quiet get away from the hustle of Waikiki but can be reached in under an hour by taking a beautiful scenic drive along the beach and through the tunnels to the 'City' side on the island.
Life is slower here. Take a stroll on a beach right in front of the unit and never see more than a hand-full of people for miles. We furnished the unit for us to enjoy, not as a rental. You will feel that you are in your own home on the beach. Everything that you need is here, and our property manager is available at a moments notice if you should ever desire any services. Large private unit, a True One Bedroom, not a studio, don't be fooled by other listings. Over 200 sq ft private lanai on the beach and air-conditioning. GREAT BEDS!!! Great Kitchen!!! Great Vacation!!!
Repair work is always in progress due to condo being on the ocean. Most of the noise does not get into the unit, most of the time. Location of work is not known in advanced.

Summary: First impression of building ands parking lot was not good. Building is in disrepair from years of apparent non maintenance and natural salty environment. However, maintenance and repair was currently under way. Which, of course, generates construction noise during the day. The facility is dated and shows it. Our unit was fine and as represented in the listing. It advertised largest deck on the beach but has a 42" concrete railing wall that obstructs your view of thje ocean. So sitting on deck, you can't see the ocean over over the wall railing. There is a table and four plastic chairs on the deck but they are not meant for lounging. Tnere was only one beach chair available at this unit however their manager did provide us with two new beach chairs. He was very accommodating and pleasant. The beach is incredible !! Private and great for seeing turtles. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and woujld go back to this facility but in a unit higher in the building that has an open railing to the ocean.
