**We have a strict no-loud-parties, respect-the-neighbourhood policy which is monitored by sensors**
The space
Split over two levels, our beautiful home maximises peace and serenity. Most rooms feature expansive views of Lake Macquarie, and you can catch incredible sunsets throughout the year.
The top level is the living space. There are two bedrooms and an office (the office has a fold-out couch bed). The main bedroom has a fully equipped ensuite with its own bath, while the other two rooms have access to another fully equipped bathroom with a bath. The main bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has two single beds, and the office has a fold out double bed.
At the front is a vast living space, which includes a massive dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a huge lounge room. These rooms have incredible lake views, and we've often spent hours just watching the boats and sunsets.
The front space also opens out onto a lovely deck, which is where we've located the BBQ.
Downstairs, you'll have access to our laundry and rumpus room. This space also has a lovely view of the lake and can be a great place to get some downtime if you're there with a large group. The laundry has a washing machine and drier.
In the house, you'll find lots of child-safe options. There are drawer locks, socket plugs, and baby gates. We have our own child, so the house has everything we use when we stay there.
Out the back is our extensive backyard. You're welcome to use the area, and the various adventures it offers. It's somewhat of a work in progress, so please take care when in the back. The garden shed and garage are strictly out of bounds as they have tools in them.
You are welcome to charge your EV in the outside plugs under the deck.

For an extra fee we can give you access to an extra downstairs area. This includes a third bathroom and two extra bedrooms.
** Long Stay Options **
Sometimes, when you're traveling, you like to find the perfect place and stay for a while. If you're looking to stay for more than 7 nights (up to 89), then contact us for a discount and extra cleaning options.
** Strict No Smoking Policy **
Our entire property is absolutely no smoking with no exceptions. This includes vaping. We have installed monitors to monitor for smoking.
** Respect-the-neighbourhood policy**
Our neighbourhood is not just beautiful, it's also family-friendly. We expect our guests to respect our neighbourhood. This means no loud parties or drunken behaviour, and taking care to park only in the area allocated to our place. We have installed noise monitors and video cameras around the property to assist with this and proactively ensure our neighbourhood is treated respectfully.
** Sometimes you'll see us**
As you'll see, our garden requires constant maintenance as we transform our property. You'll at times see us working in the garden, or our gardner doing his maintenance. We'll always let you know before this happens.
Guest access
You'll have exclusive access to the upstairs of our home, the downstairs laundry, and beautiful yard. If you've requested access to the extra bedrooms downstairs, this will also be unlocked for you.
The garage and garden shed are off limits.
Other things to note
Where possible, we provide fresh fruit from our garden for you to enjoy, depending on the season. We also provide cereal and milk for your stay. If you are lactose intolerant, please let us know in advance so we can get you lactose-free milk or soy milk.
Fruit from the garden. Our home has a variety of fruit and vege we grow ourselves. You are welcome to pick what you need for your stay, as fresh produce tastes amazing. We just ask that you only take what you need for your stay as we use the produce ourselves.
Netflix and Streaming. The smart TV and free WiFi are equipped so you can watch your favourite streaming shows and movies. With the recent crackdown on account sharing, you must bring your own account to watch the show. A how-to guide on signing in is provided by the T.V. and we'll make sure your account is signed out when you leave.
