Tranquility Chalet is a peaceful, private lakefront retreat on Bald Mountain Lake, located in the Rumbling Bald community at the North end of Lake Lure. Bald Mountain Lake is a 65 acre private, non-motorized lake. You’ll enjoy fishing, boating (4 single kayaks, 2 SUP boards, Peddle Boat are all provided for guest use). New stone fire pit area at the lakefront! Tranquility Chalet is professionally managed and cleaned with professional linen service.
As guests of Tranquility you’ll enjoy access to amenities at Rumbling Bald - private beach, lakefront swimming, two championship 18-hole golf courses, driving ranges, restaurants/lounges, outdoor pool, indoor pool, whirlpool, steam and dry saunas, fitness center, spa with massage therapist, hair and manicure salon, 18-hole miniature golf course, lighted tennis courts, pickle-ball, basketball court, sand volleyball, scenic boat cruises, boat rentals and much more. Enjoy boating, fishing and swimming in warm weather and hiking the year-round. Guest passes included at the home, allow for complementary use of pools and fitness center. TRANQUILITY CHALET Layout:
MAIN LEVEL: Updated Kitchen, well-stocked for home cooking. Open floor plan Family Room has wood burning fireplace (available for guest use October 1 thru May 1), HD TV with streaming services (Live TV is complimentary - use your credentials to log in to Netflix, etc). Dining area table with 8 chairs + 4 seats at the Kitchen breakfast bar. Direct access to nicely furnished Screen Porch and wrap-around Deck with seating and gas grill (propane provided). 1 Queen Bedroom with view of serene water feature pond. 2nd Bedroom with 2 extra-long Twin Bunks and 1 Queen Bed. Full Bath with combination tub/shower serves the Main Level.
UPPER LEVEL: 1 Queen Bedroom w/private deck overlooking the lake. 2nd Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds and balcony overlooking garden waterfall. Full Bath with combination tub/shower serves the Upper Level bedrooms.
LOWER LEVEL: Family Room with HD TV, Desk Area and access to Lower Level Covered Deck. Full Bathroom has walk-in shower and high-capacity, stacked washer/dryer.
