Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Kihei Kai Nani. This location was referred to us by friends who have been coming back to KKN for years. The property is well maintained and everything was in working order. Can't say enough about the many amenities within walking distance, including groceries, liquor sales, restaurants, etc. Kam beach 2 is right across the street and made our beach days very easy; also enjoyed the daily sunset views from the popular sitting wall along the beach. Our two points for improvement: umbrellas in our unit weren't useful (really need the screw-in type for the windy times...we were able to borrow one from a friend) and the AC in the bedroom was on a 1 HR timer, which was a bit of a pain.
