Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Beautifully appointed property with tasteful decor in a lovely location. Kitchen fairly well equipped and laundry facilities good.
Negative: Plunge pool was not in operation. Detailed instructions left in the property and in the QR code app but none worked because the pump etc was not connected. Obviously not worked for a while and as this was one of the key reasons for booking this property, this was very disappointing. We reported this, and the fact we could not open the balcony doors, to Vacasa straight away and were assured someone would come out. No one got back to us. I contacted via Booking.com and could not get anyone to grasp the issue. They kept telling me it was not heatable but instructions made it clear it could be air jet heated to 85 degrees but air jets were not connected and operational. Also had a problem with the heating (weather was unseasonal) which gave off a very strong smell of burning (dust in vents etc?) and set the smoke alarm off! Nobody came to check that either - just told us it was normal and to leave it to burn off. A shame because the property should have merited a much better score but for mismanagement
