Positive: We have just returned from a stay at an apartment in Würzburg, and honestly, it was a bit of a rollercoaster. The place is on the ground floor of a new building, big with two bedrooms and a living room-kitchen combo. Since it is right on the street, we pretty much had to keep the shutters closed all the time to have some privacy, which was a bit of a bummer. Initially, things started off on the right foot. Communication was smooth, and they even let us drop off our luggage about an hour and a half early, which was really helpful. The first cleaning lady we met was super nice too. But the whole vibe changed as our visit went on, especially around the parking situation. They were really strict about where to park (at least 6 notes in the apartment reminding you need to park on place 48 only), and despite following their rules, we found our car (and several others) messed with one day (wind wipers up). We reached out to the host, but the response came way too late to be of any help. Then, there was the issue on our check-out day. We were running 45 minutes late, not even a full hour, and the cleaning staff were incredibly rude about it! It felt like a total 180 from the hospitality we initially experienced. The apartment itself was okay—new furniture, beds were alright, cleanliness was decent—but the whole parking drama and the attitude from the host and cleaning staff on our last day just left a sour taste in our mouth. What makes this whole thing even more disappointing is that this was not our first time staying with these hosts. We had a great experience at their place in Coburg before, so we genuinely didn't expect this kind of treatment. So, despite the perks of the apartment, we can't recommend staying here. The lack of understanding and the negative attitudes we faced just overshadowed the good parts.
