Shopping hubs Bondi Junction and Paddington are only a few minutes away by car.
The Space:
Enter the apartment into a short corridor that leads you to a spacious open-plan, art-filled living/dining room with beautiful polished floorboards throughout. The living space has a 3-seater sofa, a couple of occasional chairs, a sideboard, a rug for comfort and a wall-mounted reverse-cycle aircon unit. There are floor-to ceiling windows and a glass sliding door taking you out to a roomy balcony with a table, chairs, and expansive north-facing views that include the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Sydney’s CBD (Downtown) – an amazing spot to enjoy Sydney’s spectacular New Years Eve fireworks. Back inside the apartment, the dining area offers a table for 6 people, a rug and large windows providing the same sweeping north-facing views. Just off the dining area, the kitchen comes equipped with a Bosch dishwasher, a 3-burner electric cooktop, a wall-mounted oven, microwave and double sink in front of windows with those glorious views.
The apartment’s dedicated bedroom has a queen-sized bed and built in wardrobes, while a second room, usually used as a study/office, has a click-clack sofa that transforms into a single bed if needed, as well as a Smart TV. Both sleeping spaces have ceiling fans, great views and block-out blinds. The tiled bathroom comes with a shower as well as a separate deep bathtub. For your laundry needs, there are free laundry facilities shared with 3 other units, accessible opposite the apartment’s front door. The apartment building also offers a shared swimming pool.
The Neighborhood:
Woollahra is one of Sydney’s most prestigious suburbs, located 4 kilometres east of the CBD (Downtown) and well known for its beautiful tree-lined streets and upscale homes. This apartment is perfectly located, only a 7 minute stroll to the shops, bars, eateries and antique sellers on Queen Street, and just 10 minutes’ walk to the Edgecliff Centre and Eastpoint Food Fair for a Coles supermarket, cafes and a range of specialty shops. The buzzy Paddington Markets are on every Saturday, offering clothing, accessories & home items from local craftspeople & designers. For a huge selection of shops and eateries, head to Bondi Junction, just a 5 minute drive away, with Sydney’s iconic Bondi beach only a little further. Trumper Park, Wolper Hospital and the Emanuel Synagogue are also nearby.
Getting Around:
The apartment comes with an undercover parking spot. If you prefer public transport, it’s a 10 minute walk to Edgecliff train station which offers regular services to the CBD (Downtown) and Western Suburbs in one direction and Bondi Junction in the other. You can also catch buses there that take you into you the CBD (Downtown) and The Rocks, home to Sydney’s Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
Other Things to Note:
* Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is the case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
