You will be within walking distance of Siempre Fresco (a local grocery store known for excellent produce - just at the end of the street) and Auto Mercado, the largest US-style grocery store with the best selection of imports, is just a minute's drive down the road. There is also a collection of walkable shops, including Tamarindo Coffee Roasters, an ice cream shop, a custom surfboard shop, and a gym, if that's your thing.
