Positive: Whilst Ribadeo itself is quite a small town, its location at the mouth of the river and access to a wonderful coast line and beaches, made our stay here one of the most pleasant of the seven locations we visited/stayed at during our trip to North Western Spain for the first time. Having visited the length of the Eastern and Southern Mediterranean coastline on many, many occasions, we loved the relatively unspoilt and less touristy region of Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria. The hotel itself was immaculate and the staff across the board, warm, helpful and welcoming. The manager was in attendance throughout the day, from breakfast onwards and even served us our night caps on one occasion, always ensuring that the hotel was immaculately clean and fresh and that the staff were on task. Our room was delightful, with balcony and river view, well appointed and comfortable. Reception staff were helpful and knowledgeable and again always made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.
