Summary: The property is quintessential Mexico. The accommodations are simple. The highlights for me as a woman traveling alone, is that the staff were very sweet, responsive and kind (and the manager speaks fluent English). The location is great, just a block from the main plaza. I recommend asking for a room NOT overlooking the street, because it's busy and loud well into the night. I moved to another room and slept well after the first night. I enjoyed relaxing in the open-air community area in the evenings.
