With a little bit of luck, there is a parkingplace in front of the house, but a car is not necessary to enjoy Bruges and his surroundings.
Two bikes are provided for your enjoyment, and both walking and cycling in Bruges, and the surrounding areas is easy and fun. Summary: Overall a great stay. The rooms were good size and had pretty much everything we needed. The location was excellent, quiet street but a short walk from the main part of town,.the grocery store.and a night shop . The bicycles were a very nice and appreciated addition. Using the code for entry made check in and out easy and means you didn't need to keep track of keys. Some observations (not criticisms): the stairs up to the bed and bathrooms are narrow and winding, they need some care in going up and down. The bed is quite soft (if that matters to someone) but we nevertheless found it quite comfortable. Fans were nice given the unusually hot weather. The washer/dryer took some effort to figure out; Google translate was helpful as the instructions were in French. But having a washer was great. While the bathroom was fine, there was no shampoo or other toiletries so be sure to bring your own. The kitchen is well equipped. TV was nice and worked well. As some others have mentioned, the host came by during the week- he messaged in advance. Not a usual thing in other rentals we have had but not a problem either. We would recommend this property and host!
