The house was built in 1963 and has been modernized over the years. Built like a ranch, the main floor contains nearly everything you see in the photos. The basement area contains only the playroom, laundry room and gym. Our favorite part of the house is the dining room's large table that allows for meals to be enjoyed by large groups with tons of natural light and screened windows/doors open on breezy days! Amazing tree canopy in the yard provides tons of shade on hot days. The kitchen is fully stocked as this is our primary home. Everything from the vitamix blender, kitchenaid mixer, philips coffee/espresso maker, almond cow, waffle maker, instant pot etc. If you need it, we've got it! Tons of toys, books and outdoor amusement for primary aged kiddos.
Guest Access:
All areas of the home will be available to you with the exception of the primary closet and one of the closets in the guest room. Those will be locked as "owner's closets".
The Neighborhood:
Forest Hills is located between Green Hills and Brentwood. Rolling hills and treelined streets make this quiet neighborhood idyllic for evening walks. 10 Min to Highway 65 at Old Hickory Boulevard. 5 Minutes to Deerwood Arboretum. 10 Min to Green Hills: Whole Foods, Bluebird Cafe, Green Hills Mall, Chopt, Cava, Restoration Hardware Cafe, True Foods. 10 Min to Brentwood: Del Friscos, Uncle Julios, Publix, Kroger, Pure Sweat & Float, Jeni's Ice Cream, Core Power Yoga. 7 Min to Radnor State Park (GREAT hiking and wild life). 10 Min to Percy Warner Park (GREAT hiking, nature center for kiddos). 15 Min to Franklin. 25 Min to Downtown/Broadway. Ubers/Lyft available to and from downtown/airport.
Getting Around:
A car is definitely necessary. E-bikes (which we have available) are great in this neighborhood because the hills can be quite daunting. We will likely be leaving behind 1 or 2 cars and those can be made available on Turo. Please inquire with us directly.
Other Things to Note:
We are traveling and are renting our house while we are gone. This is our family's home - we love and cherish it and hope you will enjoy your time here. Given this is our primary residence, we would ask that you tend to watering the plants weekly. This takes me about 5 minutes start to finish and I will leave instructions. We don't use any toxic chemicals when cleaning the house (branch basics) and essential oil laundry detergent. No glade plug ins or fragrances to be worried about. We may also have a garden if it's summer time and you will be welcome to the fruits/veggies - again, would ask for this to be watered. It's one small raised bed.
Also, we will be leaving 1 SUV behind and it may be available for rent on Turo should you need access to a car. Just let us know if so. We can provide a pack and play if needed.

We will be traveling but we do have a local property manager who will be responsive to any of your needs. We are available via text/phone 24/7/365.
