It is composed of a nice living room of 70 m², an open fully equipped kitchen, three nice bedrooms, a bathroom and you can enjoy a garden of about 4 000 m². Wifi, sheets and towels included, we are waiting for you!
The accommodation is composed as follows:
Day space:
- A living room of 70 m² with TV, sofa bed and dining area.
- An open kitchen equipped with: central island, electric kettle, oven, microwave oven, toaster, dishwasher, hotplates, Nespresso coffee maker...
Night space:
- Bedroom 1: a double bed (140×190).
- Bedroom 2: a double bed (140×190).
- Bedroom 3: two single beds.
- A bathroom with shower and bathtub.
- Separate toilet.
Exterior:
- A swimming pool (private, not heated) with two spa seats on the back steps, open from April to the end of October, featuring a dome.
- A beautiful enclosed garden of about 4,000 m², a water source that feeds a pond, as well as a terrace of 50 m², facing south with teak furniture to enjoy the beautiful days. You will be able to enjoy the view on the ruins of the castle.
For even more comfort : barbecue, washing machine, fan, ironing board and iron.
The house is ideally located in Cuzorn, in a very pleasant environment. The village is rich in iron ore and has known flourishing industrial times since the 15th century with forges, mills, paper mills and sawmills. The village has many treasures, including a few mansions, a 17th century manor house and many old farms. You will be interested in the associative activities and you will be seduced by a man who knew how to reclaim his life by writing.
Activities :
- Going up the valley of the Lémance, one is surprised by the remains of the castle. Suspended at the top of the cliffs, on an impregnable peak, they watch over the village that crowds at its feet.
- At the entrance of the town hall is the statue of Peace made by the local association of stone cutters Compas. The word Peace has been engraved in 42 languages. Nearby flows the Lémance. Bridges span the river over a hundred meters, giving it the air of a small wild Venice. Houses with visible ochre stones dating, for some of them, from the 15th to the 19th century. The castle seems impregnable and yet the cliffs make it so fragile. Mentioned in 1271, it was razed in 1442, then rebuilt in 1603, to be partially destroyed in 1794. The remains of the dungeon and the surrounding wall remain. Its particular situation on the side of a cliff was the reason why it was spotted by Stéphane Bern's Mission du Patrimoine.
