Der Wein- und Ferienort Bühlertal liegt am Fuße des Schwarzwaldes (200 - 1.000m ü.NN) inmitten des Wein- und Obstparadieses Ortenau zwischen der Badischen Weinstraße und der Schwarzwaldhochstraße. Er bietet alles was Sie sich vom Schwarzwald erträumen: Weinberge, eine gesunde Luft, und neben der badischen Küche den über die Grenzen bekannten Affentaler Spätburgunder Rotwein. Über markierte Wanderwege können Sie die schönsten Ausblicke bis zum Straßburger Münster genießen. Rundwanderwege in den Weinbergen führen nahe am Haus vorbei. Gertelbach-Wasserfälle, Wildnispfad und Luchspfad sowie ausgezeichnete Mountain - Bike Strecken sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Skifahrer und Langläufer haben im Winter ihr Vergnügen entlang der nahen Schwarzwaldhochstraße. Drei Nordic-Ski-Zentren sind innerhalb von 20 Minuten erreichbar. Unsere Gemarkung grenzt unmittelbar an den neuen Nationalpark Schwarzwald. Unter dem Motto „Eine Spur wilder" laden Naturpark-Ranger zu Führungen durch eine nahezu unberührte Waldlandschaft ein. Ausflüge nach Straßburg, Baden - Baden, Freiburg oder zum Europa-Park Rust benötigen mit dem Auto weniger als eine Stunde. Als Gast in unserem Haus erhalten Sie eine KONUS-Gästekarte und fahren kostenlos mit Bus und Bahn im gesamten Schwarzwald. Unser Winzerhof der im Nebenerwerb bewirtschaftet wird, grenzt unmittelbar an das Landschaftsschutzgebiet „Bühler - Tal" an. Er liegt nur 200 m vom Wald und 300 m von den Weinbergen entfernt, abseits der Durchgangsstraßen. Neben Obstbau und Weinbau betreiben wir seit über 80 Jahren eine landwirtschaftliche Kleinbrennerei. Spezialitäten, wie sie nur selten zu finden sind, können Sie bei uns genießen. Unsere Brände und Liköre wurden bei Prämierungen wiederholt mit Medaillen ausgezeichnet. Für unsere kleinen Gäste haben wir einen eigenen Spielplatz angelegt. Benutzung der Sauna gegen Gebühr.
