DRIVING - Hopkins is around 2 hours away from the Main International Airport located in Belize City. The home is 3 min Car/Golf Cart ride to the Resorts and 5 minutes to the main Hopkins Village.
PRIVATE BEACH - There are steps going directly into the Caribbean from the Private Beach for you to wade or swim in. There are very comfortable chaise lounges for you to enjoy relaxing on the sandy beach or move them under the home for shade. There is also a Jungle Lot next to the beach offering a view of the local wildlife including Agoutis, Iguanas, Coatimundis and many species of vibrant Belizean birds.
ENCLOSED PORCH - The 1920's-themed room includes an entire Wall of Windows which can be opened to screens and even to the open air. A complete view of the sandy beach and the Caribbean below. Includes a marble-topped dining table with leather wooden dining chairs. A wall of local Ya'axkin Butterfly Farm beauties are above the handwoven rattan, queen-sized sofa-bed and side chairs to provide relaxing comfort. Plenty of wall hooks for your wet items to dry and a tiled entryway to place your sandy items before entering the main home.
MASTER OCEAN VIEW BEDROOM - The Mayan-themed bedroom includes a Queen Bed, an A/C unit, Lighted Ceiling Fan, Blackout Curtains for a good nights rest and privacy, glass French Doors for an ocean view, private Full Bathroom, Mirrored Armoire, Dresser, Laundry Hamper, Night Stands, Pack-and-Play behind the door and Security Safe to store your valuables.
GARDEN VIEW BEDROOM - The Tropical Garifuna-themed bedroom with Garden and Jungle views includes a Queen Bed, an A/C unit, Lighted Ceiling Fan, Full Bathroom, Mirrored Armoire, Laundry Hamper, and Night Stands.
MAIN LIVE SPACE is accessed by Glass French Doors. The wooden Belizean beach-style furniture has thick custom-made cushions on the chairs and for the Futon bed. An HD TV, Internet for WiFi, Large Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker for music includes Karaoke mics, as well as Local Books about Belizean Nature & Culture.
KITCHEN with a Garden view is included in the open living area. Thick granite-topped counters (also in the bathrooms) provide a roomy, easy-to-get-around area. OPEN CEILINGS - This beautiful architecture allows for air to travel between rooms, which also allows sound to travel. Just know that even though this is stunning, there is no privacy of noise between rooms since the walls do not touch the vaulted ceilings.
LAUNDRY ROOM - located under the second story on the first level. Includes a full washer (laundry detergent & softener), extra beach chairs, dryer, BBQ grill, highchair and trash can.
PATIO DINING - Patio dining furniture is located under the home for you to enjoy the front yard garden and the ocean view in a shaded area.
CHILDREN - We include a padded high chair and pack-n-play with a bassinet option. Having children myself I know how difficult this is to travel with:)

IMPORTANT - The main living area is on the second floor and has stairs going up to the large front door. From June to November this is Belize's rainy season, as well as the seaweed, Sargassum, can come to shore in high quantities. The Caribbean including Belize also has mosquitos, No-see-ums and doctor flies, which a good bug spray will protect you from. Of course, nature is unpredictable and sometimes the conditions can be so optimal and then sometimes it can be rainy or a lot of seaweed. There are plenty of jungle excursions during those days such as Mayan temples, waterfalls and cave kayaking/tubing etc. Once you check in we will give you all of the tips to have the best stay possible navigating Mother Nature's unpredictability. Of course, we cannot control Mother Nature ... we can only send her a memo to be on her best behavior for your arrival :):)
