Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was good and the owners seemed nice. They provided essential amenities such as cleaning products, dish washing detergent, toilet roll and tea/coffee. The owners maintained communication throughout our stay and seemed to care about their guests.

Negative: The bath drainage was blocked and the bath filled up whilst having a shower. The stairs in this property seemed dangerous as they were very steep and the tread wasn't wide enough to fit a foot, especially when carrying cases up the stairs. The bathroom mirror wasn't attached to the wall, it was sitting against the sink which was far too low. We had to kneel on the floor to use it. The front of the property had cigarette butts and rubbish all in the plant pots and on the ground. The sofa was definitely not suitable to sleep on (not sure why it says 2 people can sleep on it). The main bedroom bed was far too small for the base (looked like a king single on a double base). Not adequate enough for 2 people. The mattress was also very thin. It was quite uncomfortable to sleep on. The property itself has potential if the above issues are rectified.
