Wonderfully situated a tenth of a mile from the shores of Flax Pond, this Cape Cod home is a place for summer days spent kayaking, walking the pond's scenic trails, and basking in the sunshine on Dennis' beautiful beaches. In the afternoons, enjoy an expansive lawn and three spacious areas for outdoor entertaining.
The location of this three-story colonial can't be beat. Stroll to Flax Pond to hike or swim (at your own risk) or take advantage of the unloading area to easily transport your kayak (there is no parking at the pond). On beach days, pack up the provided chairs and towels and head to Mayflower, Chapin, or Bayview Beach, all within three miles. You'll also be minutes from Dennis Village, home to The Cape Playhouse, great restaurants, shops, galleries, and ice cream parlors.
After a gorgeous day in the sun, come home to rinse off in the outdoor shower, toss your swimsuits in the washer/dryer, and make use of the home's fantastic outdoor spaces. Enjoy a side patio with a cushioned sectional, a rear patio with a Weber gas grill and picnic table, and another side patio with a dining table for sunset dinners.
Every interior comfort was carefully considered, from the central air-conditioning system (with separate zones for the upstairs and downstairs, installed in 2022) to the high-speed WiFi, computer monitors, and desks provided for remote work. The living spaces are chic and polished, including a living room with a smart TV, a dining room with a piano for dinnertime ambience, and an elegant kitchen with stainless steel appliances and helpful extras including a mixer, blender, Keurig coffee maker, and food storage containers.
Of the three bedrooms, one is an upstairs primary suite with its own bathroom and smart TV. Bonus features to the primary suite include dual monitors and an attached den with a crib and twin trundle bed. A high chair is also included for your littlest travelers.
