Dusk til Dune brings elegance to the beach with neutral tones accented with shades of blues and teals throughout. Entering on the first floor, guests are welcomed into a cozy living room with plenty of seating on a pull-out sofa gathered around a flat-screen TV. Two bunk rooms on this level will accommodate nine guests across two full/full bunks and a twin daybed and share a full bathroom. Follow the hall towards the back of the house to find a lovely screened-in porch for enjoying a quiet moment with no bugs!
The second floor hosts a spacious open-concept floor plan perfect for entertaining. A gourmet kitchen with a backsplash reminiscent of sea glass, houses stainless steel appliances, a four burner gas stove, sparkling stone countertops, large pantry and bar seating for four. Next, a formal dining table seating ten leads into the living spaces. Guests have a choice between cozy couches gathered around a TV or a conversation area with four swiveling armchairs - an awesome place to play games. This wonderful main floor living area has access to a balcony with seating for a view of this quaint neighborhood.
Two king bedrooms with a shared bathroom are available on the third floor in addition to the primary king suite. The primary suite is spacious and filled with natural light from the many windows, plus it offers a private balcony overlooking the neighborhood. Summary: The house is beautiful and clean and a short distance from the beach with ample room for a large family or group of friends. The golf cart made it easy to transport people and gear to the beach. The community pool was fun for the children. However, the automatic light in the community pool bathroom turned off on my elderly mother and she struggled to get out in the dark. Please look into changing the automatic lights. There were a few items that would have been nice for the house to have including Kleenex, salt/pepper, can opener, and dish rags. The house did provide boogie boards, beach chairs, bikes and umbrellas which was a huge perk. We tried to ask questions to the house manager/owner before the trip and did not get a reply. However, after we checked in communication improved and we were able to ask questions. There was a complimentary charcuterie board which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, a beautiful home which I would recommend to others!
