Positive: Antonella was a fabulous hostess. The apartment was beautifully decorated and included an interesting array of books, including one about a favorite passion of mine, canoeing and kayaking. I was pleasantly surprised that she had a reserved parking spot outside the room, which is in the historic district. Also she provided a very nice bottle of local Puglia wine, which was delicious. Also provided was a bowl of fresh local fruit, another unexpected treat. Her dinner recommendation was to a local restaurant called Cotura Media, where we had catch of day which we selected from the ice cooler outside. The waiter also provided us with a couple of sea urchins to try, because we’d never had them before, and he insisted that they be eaten not with a spoon, but by swiping with the fresh bread in order to get all the flavor, the way his mother eats them. Everything about our stay was delightful, and we wished we had planned additional time to spend in the lovely city of Trani.
Summary: Delightful. It is obvious that the space was decorated with as artful sense of style.
