One of the best kept secrets on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Captain’s Cove sits directly on the Chincoteague Bay, just 25 short minutes by car or boat to Chincoteague and Assateague Islands, where our wild ponies roam free. Looking for some OC excitement? Ocean City, MD is a short 45 minute drive away. Here, life takes a slower pace - sipping wine as you watch the sun sink into the Chincoteague Bay, or the joy you feel watching the kids catch Crabs off the dock. Down the Hall, Bedroom 3 has 2 Twins and is dressed in beachy blues and whites. Bedroom 4 sleeps 3 with a Pyramid Bunk (Twin over Full). Bedroom 5 is a 2nd Master Bedroom, and is amazing! Drift off to sleep in a luxurious King Bed, or slip out to your Private Screened Porch, beautifully furnished with even a Fire Table! The Private Master Bath has a Double Vanity and Walk-in Shower. Both the Masters and the Twin Bedroom are equipped with Black Out Shades to ensure a good night’s rest, as well.

Captain’s Cove is loaded with amenities - a Golf Course, Indoor Pool, 2 Outdoor Pools - 1 Bayfront with Tiki Bar, Fitness Center, Playground, Restaurant, Golf, 24 Hour Security, and Snack Bar. Guests may purchase Amenity Passes for the pools by the day or the week at a minimal fee ($15/pp per day or $75/pp per week).
Captain's Cove does not allow arrivals or departures on Sundays. Pool/Amenity closures possible and Amenities cannot be guaranteed. Please check with our office for current status.
