Woodbank is a delightful, detached property offering a cosy and character filled interior and a lovely garden area leading down to the clear waters of the River Cree. The lounge is a particularly fine feature of this property with its feature wood burning stove, exposed stonework and views towards the river. The large garden has a screened gazebo, which has astro-turf flooring and cane furniture, and is a great place in which to relax. The wild garden and rockery to the left hand side is ideal for viewing wildlife. Fishermen will be in their element in this property and all those yearning to spend time in beautiful surroundings teeming with wildlife will also cherish a break in Woodbank. The property enjoys a tranquil setting in Old Minnigaff which frames the river. Across the river bridge lies the much loved town of Newton Stewart and then the road to Glen Trool, where the hills are a veritable paradise for both walkers and cyclists. Woodbank provides an excellent base for exploring this glorious area with its stunning land and seascapes, myriad historic buildings AND sites and wide range of outdoor activities.
