Positive: This room, located in a private home in a residential part of Washington, DC, is exceptional. It's just a few minutes walk from Tenleytown, and close by American University, which my child attends. There's ample street parking. The room is large and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Same amenities as any hotel but in a space larger than most hotel rooms. The host is also easy to contact and enjoyable to talk to.
Negative: If I were to have any complaints--and this is quite minor--it's that the host offers a Keurig-style coffee maker in the room, but no sugar or creamer. I drank it black, not my preference, but hardly a problem.
Summary: Comfortable room in residential part of Washington, D.C. with parking and easy access to the Metro
