Summary: Nice villa. Make sure you know how to get there before arriving at SXM. It's on the other side of the island and cell phone signal was spotty... getting there in the dark turned into a real adventure. It is a short drive to Dawn Beach and you can utilize the pool and beach chairs at JW Marriott. Although, Dawn Beach was the worst beach on the island, many other beaches on the island put it to shame. The villa needs a few items like quality linens, mattress protectors, towels and basic cleaning supplies as there is no cleaning service and the garbage is a take it with you to the entrance of the community setup. No big deal but would've been nice to know and be able to clean some without purchasing our own supplies. Would be nice to have TV in bedrooms too. Would be great to have the ability to pay for basic groceries to be waiting upon arrival. Thankfully we stopped in Marigot and at least got coffee and a few items for our child. Beautiful upper deck, but WiFi signal did not reach which was a bit of a bummer for hanging out or trying to listen to music up there. Do some research on where the villa is... we had a convertible Jeep that worked well but was a bit of a drive to everything. We booked both a fishing trip and speed boat trip to Anguilla with "Billy Bones", highly recommend both but the Anguilla trip is a must. We preferred the French side of the island which is 10 minutes from the villa.All in all, it's a great villa.
