Positive: I recently stayed at the De Cecilia alla Piramide Cestia apartment in Rome, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The apartment is incredibly spacious and features a huge terrace – perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing or enjoying breakfast in the morning sun. Everything you might need for a comfortable stay is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals if you wish, and there’s a washing machine, which is a real bonus for longer stays. Whether you’re planning a quick weekend getaway or a two-week holiday, you’ll find the conditions here exceptionally comfortable. Cleanliness is a top priority for me, and even my somewhat perfectionist wife was impressed by how spotless everything was – and I trust her judgment completely when it comes to cleanliness! The location is fantastic. The apartment is just a 2–3 minute walk from the metro station, which means you can reach the historic center (the Colosseum and Roman Forum) in just a few minutes, or the Vatican in about 25 minutes. The connections couldn’t be better. If you’re traveling by car, there’s an underground garage with a private, lockable parking space. You can leave your car safely and forget about it for the duration of your stay, which is a huge convenience in Rome. Overall, I would rate this place 11/10. The next time I plan a trip to Rome, I will definitely check the availability of this apartment first. Highly recommended!
