Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: I arrived early and surprised the manager/owner, so we chatted and he showed me around the property.
Negative: The stairs are very steep with open steps and my large dog who just happens to be a big baby, found them stressful and needed to be managed up and down. We were careful going up and down after our glass of wine... The only other downside was that the back garden was open on each side of the house and it would have been great to be able to let the dog out and not worry about him getting out and running in front of cars.
Summary: Beautiful, original cottage in a prime location on Valentia.
