Positive: We had a lovely stay at Creek Cottage! The location was fantastic — peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet only a short drive into Falmouth town. One of the best parts was how close it was to several beautiful beaches. Maenporth Beach, Swanpool, and Gyllyngvase were all within a 5 to 10-minute drive, making beach visits super convenient for both morning strolls and afternoon swims. Overall, a great base for exploring Cornwall’s coastline. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful yet well-located holiday home near the beach. Last but not the least property owner was really helpful and understanding, especially when we requested for help – it's clear they genuinely care about guest problems , comfort and experience.
Negative: A couple of small things could have made the stay even better. It would have been nice to have basic toiletries like shower gel provided, and the seating area outside the cottage, which has a lovely view of the surrounding nature, could be more comfortable. The existing chair was broken, which made it difficult to enjoy a morning cup of tea outdoors. Overall, it’s a great place in a peaceful setting, and with a few small touches.
