Positive: I can't stress how much I would love to come back to this location, and I live on Samui. It's beautiful. The only two sealed rooms are the bedroom and bathroom. The rest is open. There's something about opening the front door and still being "outside" that I found refreshing. The view of the water is absolutely STUNNING. Most of our days were spent relaxing in the living area while enjoying the nature. Everything was clean. The kitchen had every appliance you could need, along with pots and pans and such. The staff were responsive and helpful. Band, the grounds keeper, is a sweet guy who is very generous with his stories of the islands.
Negative: Very minor gripes: While being a beautiful location, the road to get there is very unkempt. It's all concrete, but very very vertical mixed with lots of sand pits at every decent/turn. Leaving or going home were the worst parts about this location. If I had a 125cc, I would have been concerned about 2 people plus bags going up some of the hills. It could really use some cleaning up. Just be careful and you'll be fine. The double bed was two twin beds sandwiched together which often came apart in the evening.
