Welcome to The Retreat. Located off Hwy 13. A cozy barn styled tiny cabin with panoramic Mountain View’s and large loft. The Retreat has the most spacious bathroom in a tiny house. This bath has a 5 ft tub/shower, 5ft closet, 42in vanity. You’ll enjoy an inviting cedar front deck with white rocking chairs to watch the ample deer, turkeys, elk, quail and pheasant that stroll by. Southfork of the Clearwater River is an 8 minute drive for world class fishing. The majestic view is breathtaking from the seasonal pool.
The Retreat has 2 double beds total. 1 double bed located in the spacious loft and open to below living. 1 double sofa bed in the living room. Sleeps 4.
The kitchen and living room are open floor plan 12x12. WiFi included. A 40in Roku tv in the living room.
The kitchenette has stainless-steel countertops and full size refrigerator. Open black metal shelving with dishes. The Retreats kitchen has basic utensils, large skillet, crock pot, microwave , portable oven (works really great) and Keurig coffee with coffee pods (Starbucks pike place, medium roast) and basic spices.
The most spacious bathroom in a tiny house. This space has a 5 ft tub/shower, 5 ft closet, 42 inch vanity. We provide basic toiletries such as facial wipes, Q-tips, hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner, liquid body soap and toothbrushes.
A Generac generator onsite providing continuous power. (Turned off end of February 2024). Portable table for work station.
You’ll enjoy an inviting cedar front deck with white rocking chairs to watch the ample deer, turkeys, elk, quail, eagles and pheasant that may stroll by.
You might see our paint horse named Whisky, 2 goats Miller and Jack, chickens, ducks and rabbits that also live on the 26 acre property. You may see us doing daily chores.
The Retreat is best suited for 2 people although 4 works fine, too. 4 person maximum.
We have 26 acres of walking, hiking, biking and ATV trails. Nice view of the river.
Bring your 4 wheelers and side by sides as there’s plenty of room to park them.
I’ll let you know where to park these upon arrival.

I’m located onsite, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me on the platform. The Retreat is our guest house.
Please make sure we can communicate by phone/text so we can share the gate code and key location which will be given to you once I have confirmation you’ve read the house rules.

Kooskia, Harpster, Grangeville, Elk City, Riggins,Nez Perce, Kamiah and Cottonwood
No hunting on the property. Hunting areas next to us are area 15.
Code word “peaceful” Checkout time is before 11:00a. Late checkout is $40.00 hr fee beginning 11:01a. We need every minute between 11a-3p to get the property ready for the next guests.
HOUSE RULES:
No one under the age of 21 may rent this home. If you reserved the home you must be the one staying in the home.
Empty garbage nightly
1. 4 wheel drive A MUST in the winter. We can get up to 10 inches of snow.
2. Summer weather ranges 70-100 degrees.
3. Bugs and wildlife are out of my control. I’m not responsible for their actions.
We especially love the butterflies that visit here and the wild animals that frequent our property.
4. No pets/ No visiting pets. A $200 pet charge if we see any unusual pets visiting the property.
5. (Allergies- please note my animals have been in the tiny home when we were living in it)
6. Smoking in designated OUTDOOR areas only. Please use receptacles provided. No smoking inside the cabin. A cleaning fee of $200, If smoking occurred inside the cabin. Thank you for your cooperation.
(PLEASE be-very cautious NOT to start a wildfire in the summer.)
7. Please be respectful of our neighbors. They are our friends and will call us. We feel our cabin is a beautiful place to be shared and enjoyed by others. We can’t do this without your cooperation, thank you.
8. Quiet time is 9p-7a Summertime
and weekends 10p-7a.
9. Speed limit on our neighborhood roads is 15 mph. Strictly enforced. Neighbors will call cops. Unfortunately this has happened before.
10. Loft-
You acknowledge the loft is open to below, using a ladder, no safety rails and not suitable for children’s use. An adult must accompany children at all times. We are not responsible for accident or injury.
11. No underage drinking.
12. ****Kayak rental fee with life jacket is $30.00 day (each). We have 3 kayaks and 3 life jackets. Must be rented at the time of reservation. After kayak use, please return kayak to exterior wall and life jacket inside. Must be 18yr to rent and use. USE KAYAK AT YOUR OWN RISK ON A LAKE ONLY. We are not responsible for accidents or injury. There’s a $350. (Each) charge if kayaks are lost, stolen or damaged. This is price to replace.
13. Pool access is seasonal. Children must be supervised at all times by an 18 yr old +. Use of the pool is AT YOUR OWN RISK. We are not responsible for accidents or injuries related to pool use. Towels provided
14. 4 person overnight maximum. No events, functions, groups or parties of any kind. Guests must leave by 9p. 10p summertime.
15. Fire pit use-Adults MUST be present at all times when fire pit is in use and children are present.
We are NOT responsible for accidents or injuries pertaining to the tiny home, loft, pool, kayaks, fire pit or animals on the property.
