With the lake only 30 to 40 ft. from the house it allows for great supervision inside or out of recreational activities and anyone swimming.
The lake shore has a sugar sand bottom and a dock is provided. Cotton Lake is one of Minnesota's great fishing, recreational lakes, and very popular in the Detroit Lakes area, it has almost 2,000 acres and the north side borders The Tamarac National Refuge.
