Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Good location, although on a main road through the town. Not far from train station and buses..Near to shops, pubs and eateries. Cottage had a good supply of hot water for relaxing baths and had adequate kitchen items. Comfortable lounge area with TV. The cottage was a good base for a few days' holiday. Axminster is a pleasant market town.

Negative: Both ground floor bedrooms had windows which opened onto a car park to the rear of the Cottage. These windows were not left open at night for ventilation as potentially anyone could have climbed in from the car park. The ground floor bathroom window was quite hard to push up to open, and then to push down to close.

Summary: Good location for exploring the area.
