Easy entertaining and indoor-outdoor living is the whole focus of this private sanctuary, set amongst towering gums and banksia trees. Home to myriad birdlife and even visits from kangaroos and echidnas, the serenity, privacy and quiet is just what you need. Switch off and relax, whilst being only 5km away from Torquay’s outstanding shops and world-renowned beaches.
Timeless design features include high ceilings and a provincial coastal aesthetic that enhances the sense of space and light. Three spacious living areas and a huge backyard provides everything a family needs, with endless entertainment in the solar-heated swimming pool, tennis court with basketball ring (inc. all equipment), enclosed trampoline and Ninja ropes course – this is the ultimate outdoor lifestyle zone! Enjoy the large outdoor undercover entertaining area (Weber BBQ and TV (free to air channels) in full view of the kids in the pool. Pick fresh vegie’s from the patch and collect fresh eggs daily from our chickens.
Light-filled and full of luxe comforts, this unique and beautiful property maximises its north aspect, capturing the outlook from the kitchen, living and dining areas over the resort-style surrounds. Well-equipped to cater to large families, the central kitchen features Hampton’s style cabinetry, a Butler’s Pantry and quality appliances. Dine inside or out – this will be the site for many memorable meals!
Inside, you can expect to find plenty of room for everyone to spread out across 3 living rooms. Each has comfy lounges to curl up in front of the gas log fire, or the wood heater, while you watch movies (Smart TV’s with Netflix connectivity). The rumpus room has heaps of toys and games for the kids to play with! A home office caters to those who need to work during their stay. Wifi, ducted heating and cooling and ceiling fans are all provided.
All bedrooms have ceiling fans and are beautifully appointed with hotel quality sheets and towels. We have done all we can to make your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. The master suite has a King-size bed, walk-in robe and large ensuite, plus the romance of French doors that open onto the veranda. The neighbouring King room also opens onto the east veranda, where you can relax in the hanging chair.
A Double and Queen bedroom in the south wing have built-in desks and wardrobes, and a Double pull out bed in the Playroom is available by request at the time of booking for extra linen fee. The central family bathroom has a shower, bath, vanity and separate toilet. Please note there is a third toilet in the laundry.
